  2. CNN is overlooking a couple of small items here.

    From the article: The Akula-class nuclear-powered submarines, which are normally equipped with surface-loaded cruise missiles and surface-to-air missiles, have stayed in international waters, the source said. These are not the class of submarines that can launch intercontinental nuclear missiles.

  3. Now a cruise missile is not technically a ICBM but 12 200K warheads w/ a 3000K range is not a short range missile by any mean. Just happened to notice this. Thought my memory was off so had to check it.
